A colourful autumn celebration

Emily and Jake’s wedding at Merriscourt was a joyful celebration filled with colour, personality and meaningful details. Set within the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside, their autumn wedding embraced a rich palette of emerald green, vibrant purple and soft pink tones, creating a design that felt both bold and beautifully balanced.

The styling was inspired by the couple’s love of colour and their desire to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for family and friends. Natural wooden tables were layered with luxurious fabrics, colourful florals and carefully chosen details that reflected their personalities. Throughout the venue, jewel-toned flowers brought energy and movement to the space while complementing Merriscourt’s rustic charm.

One of my favourite details from the day was the way Emily and Jake incorporated their beloved cats into the styling. Each table was named after one of their three cats, with elegant gold-foiled table names adding a playful and personal touch that guests absolutely loved.

The combination of vibrant florals, thoughtful styling and meaningful details created a wedding that felt completely unique to them. Every element worked together to enhance the atmosphere, resulting in a celebration that was full of warmth, colour and joy from beginning to end.
