A black-tie celebration

Claudia and Liam’s wedding at Tythe Barn was a beautiful blend of timeless elegance and relaxed luxury. Set against the stunning Oxfordshire countryside, their black-tie celebration embraced the venue’s rustic charm while introducing sophisticated details throughout the day.

Their vision centred around a classic palette of gold and white, softened with touches of vintage peach and nude tones. The result was romantic, refined and effortlessly stylish. From the ceremony through to the wedding breakfast, every element was designed to feel cohesive, welcoming and elegant.

Soft linens, golden accents and candlelight transformed the barn into an atmospheric celebration space, while lush florals in creamy whites, warm peaches and delicate neutrals added texture and movement throughout the design. The styling struck the perfect balance between formal sophistication and the relaxed character that makes Tythe Barn so special.

One of the standout moments of the day was the live saxophonist, who played guests into the drinks reception before continuing into the wedding breakfast. It created an incredible atmosphere and set the tone for a celebration full of joy, energy and unforgettable memories.

"Where do I start? Katie was the best decision we made in organising our wedding! She helped us so much in brainstorming ideas, developing mood boards which were beautiful in themselves! and was really open to our ideas. She was able to recommend and communicated herself with other beautiful suppliers such as the florist and the stationary who then we used for our wedding invites and all our on the day stationary. Katie made our wedding stress non existent from coming to say hello on the wedding morning, bringing all the set up and stationary with her, so all we had to do was bring ourselves! She was so easy and friendly to communicate with quick and honest responses via email or video call as we did not live close. She was even very polite and lovely to my last minute stress texts! Katie honestly brought our imagination to life and it was so so beautiful, we couldn't have wished for more. Everything we discussed with the set up for the ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening was dressed so perfectly. When I walked into the venue just before walking down the aisle I was in awe of how much I loved it all. Thank you Katie, so much!!"
